One of the most common requests from our customers since we started shipping BusKill cables 4 years ago has been for a cable that can be plugged directly into a computer with USB-C ports (without a USB-A to USB-C adapter).

In the past, we generally recommended the use of an adapter or for users to build their own cable. Today, we're happy to add that you can now buy a BusKill cable with a USB Type-C tip directly from our web store.

Note that the BusKill cable’s other end (the female USB receptacle) still uses USB Type-A, for accepting USB-A thumb drives.

What is BusKill?

BusKill is a laptop kill-cord. It's a USB cable with a magnetic breakaway that you attach to your body and connect to your computer.
